Peoples’ Democratic Party Co-Chair in the previous period Selahattin Demirtaş conveyed his thanks via his wife Başak Demirtaş to participants in the #freeDemirtas campaign on social media. In a video she posted on social media, Başak Demirtaş commented, “It was my visitation day with Selahattin today. Despite everything his health and morale are in good shape. He conveyed his salutations and thanks to everyone who wants freedom for Demirtaş and political prisoners.”
