A university student

KYK loan / scholarship is 650 TL, dormitory money 400 TL and we are trying to live with 250 TL, what big money is 250 TL ey, subscription is 50 TL, photocopy is 0.25 TL ...

There are also those who cannot get KYK scholarships like me. Even when I study at a private university with a scholarship, I spend 6 hours commuting every day. I prefer this method, which is much cheaper than staying in a dormitory or going to a student house because my father, who is a retired tradesman, cannot afford more.

Accessing academic knowledge is already a different challenge. Books, courses, seminars are all at the cost of fire; I work in unqualified daily jobs for 5-10 TL an hour like thousands of students to meet these. It is impossible for our families to create a separate budget for our self-improvement while trying to enought for a family of at least 4 people with a minimum wage, it is impossible to have such wants.

My university education does not mean that I have a qualified education. If this were the case, we wouldn't have to pay like crazy for dozens of courses after the license and get a certificate. Universities and course centers would not cooperate. We are like customers and universities are advertising agencies. These certificates were not asked in job interviews, diploma would be sufficient, but unfortunately these trainings are not given at the university. In departments such as Political Science and Sociology, the institutions of power and power institutions, methods, policies cannot either be criticized or a discussion platform is created, and generally, after these criticisms, we are stigmatized or become terrorists. While some academics at universities still mock the Theory of Evolution, consider LGBTI + individuals as deficient and sickly, etc. Where is academic freedom, quality of education.!

Thousands of unassigned teachers, students studying in debt, students thinking about how to pay the KYK debt after education, while libraries lack free and scientific resources, while students who defend their rights are terrorists. As a university student, it must be fair to boast of quantity, not quality, while I am struggling not to be a terrorist while I am still struggling to continue my education, to obtain the necessary certificates in business life, to criticize the university and to fight for academic freedom.
