Is blood bath lover Peker only now seen a member of a criminal organisation?

"We will shed their blood, we will take a shower with their blood ...". With these words at a rally Rize in 2015, Peker threatened the academics who signed the Declaration of Peace.  He considered himself to have a duty to support the government. There were even personal protection policemen at scene. That very same Sedat Peker has become the subject of crackdown headlines as being the "director and member of an organised crime group" a while ago.  He understood the hint and fled the country ahead of time. He is to be told to "go away for a while; you will return with an invitation." Now it is making headlines with disclosures in his videos about him being  exiled, victimized and wronged. He's settling old scores by himself.  He targets the "thousand operations man" Agar, and holds the "Pelicanists" of the mainstream media responsible as the collaborators of the crackdown on him.

How come that Peker, who was deemed to be a "lover of the homeland, a Turkish nationalist" whilst he was holding "Condemn Terror!" rallies and threatening opponents, now is treated a "leader of a criminal organisation"? Current day Peker is the same Peker as before. The leftists and democrats of the country always pointed out that he was a member of a Mafiatic criminal organisation that had ties to 'special' sections called the 'deep state'. Was it just now noticed? Was it really unknown? This is what we're supposed to believe now. But it certainly is not Peker who changed. From his revelations we can see that the change happened is him being thrown out, being liquidated from the fiscal networks around the government.

This is how things work!  The ruling class is not a monolithic block. It is a "whole" that is made up of political, economic, regular, irregular dimensions and components, and always includes contradiction, competition and tension. It can be the scene of harsh struggles within itself. Both the signs of dissolution of the government and the competition to get a share from the same "unregulated" economy lead to the liquidation of ones, while leading to the further growth of others. This is how the law works.

Peker opposed the AKP prior to imprisonment on the Ergenekon case. At that time, he was intertwined with circles defined as 'nationalist'. His relations to the "depths" of the state did not start with the AKP either. In the 90s, he had law with his "Brother Veli (Kucuk)" and "Brother Korkut (Eken)" in his 20s. Like some of his "crimes", he sided with the government after the Ergenekon detention. Of course, he brought his skills and relationships with him. At the time he was swearing to bathe in his opponent's blood, he was considered an award-winning and reputable businessman!

Now it's apparent that the ride is over for him. His name is stricken. He's from the network, so by bringing up revelations he tries to stand up, 'persuade' or bargain. Will it yield results? Hardly. At the wolf's table, partnership, brotherhood and cooperation are temporary. What really matters is monopoly. Every liquidation also means monopolisation.

Peker is already talking about a section of the "irregular economy" mentioned. He talks about the billion-dollar Bodrum Yalıkavak Marina and states that Agar "reaped the property" of Azerbaijani billionaire Mansimov. Our friend Bahadır Ozgur's article on the subject contains quite a few details about the dimensions and 'technique' of this crime economy.

When compared to the old Mafia reservations and procedures, it can be seen how dazzling the heights and how 'refined' the methods for carrying out these works have become. The numbers and techniques are astonishing. It is impossible not to be in awe. One really wants to ask: Where did the old mafias go?

In the face of what is happening Peker's statements resemble nothing more than the effort of one thrown into a swamp to pull the one who threw him in with him. His statements clearly constitute a criminal complaint, but will it be treated like this? Unlikely. In face of a full-fledged figure coming from "state tradition", like Mehmet Agar, who he described as the man of every era and the "head of the deep state", Sedat Peker is experiencing the loser's drama. Regardless of the fictional qualities he attributes to him, he will have to "look at the next matches" like a defeated team's player.

So, how do those losers and winners all find each other? How can a Sedat Peker in his mere twenties be commended to work with famous police chiefs, pashas and intelligence officers? For example, this was not the case for Catlı, who is considered a master of this genre. He was the behind the slaughtering of 7 TİP member students. Although a wanted outlaw, his relations with Agar had spread greatly throughout the Susurluk period. Catlı was even photographed at the same table with Lieutenant General Hasan Kundakçı, an infamous man who force to eat their feces to the villagers of Yesilyurt while he was in charge of the region. In a 1992 MGK document, Catlı's name was also mentioned to take part in a "special" group to be formed against "the separatist organization". İsmet Berkan wrote that he personally saw the document in question. Aside from the past, since the process leading up to September 12, the "privilege" of some elements, especially those with nationalist tendencies, was related to their involvement in this unofficial structure. So, it is a "privilege" for those who have received Special Warfare training. They used this privilege to the extent they could in that period and under these conditions, they played the synthesis of Mafiatic relations and nationalist state loyalty. They were raised and feed.

Even in this defeated state, Peker can now change from a country to another as if he was moving between neighbourhoods. However, he talks about things that are classified and tells that information still flows to him. Which is also what appears to be.

I was in the middle of what is called the deep state. What depth?”, he protests. He's telling the truth. Actually, there is no depth present. Neither Catlı nor Peker were "deep" or anything. It was the state on the surface that made them 'invisible'. The strength of all Mafiatic organisations stems from the 'official' relationships they acquire at one scale or another. The source of those relationships, including Peker's, are the special warfare networks they came into contact with in one way or another. Removed from those networks, Peker is now a stranded fish at most. He will struggle for a while, try to breathe and eventually, the movie will reach it's obvious ending. What remains is the revealed chain of malice and the thoroughly filled well of filth.
