THE NUMBER OF SUBSCRIBERS WHO CANNOT PAY THEIR BILLS ON TIME INCREASED 5 TIMES
According to the official response to CHP's Ahmet Akın, who asked about the number of bills that could not be collected within the scope of the Access to Information Law, the number of subscribers who could not pay their bills on time since January 2021 has increased by 5 times. Akın said, "While 1 million subscribers could not pay their bills at the beginning of the year, this number reached 5.5 million after four months. In other words, one out of every 5 residential subscribers cannot pay their bills on time. This is an indication of how the government impoverishes citizens." (EVRENSEL DAILY)
