Dollar tops $9.19 after Central Bank sackings
The dollar, which set a record high of 9.18 overnight after the central bank's dismissals, stood at 9.15-9.17 during the day; after the markets closed, it reached its peak of 9.19.
The dollar, which broke the record by exceeding 9.18 lira at night with the dismissal of 3 names at the Central Bank, broke its new record by exceeding 9.19 after the markets closed today.

Yesterday, the dollar started the day at 9.04 lira andclimbed above 9.10 lira as Eylul inflation in the United States exceeded expectations.
