Osman Kavala sentenced to life imprisonment in the Gezi Case, while 16 sentenced to 18 years in prison

Labour Party (EMEP) Headquarters announced the verdicts in the Gezi case.

Underlining that the sentences given to those tried in Gezi were not in the public conscience, the statement ended with the call of May 1st: "Arrest warrants should be revoked, those on trial must be released.
