Preparing Germany for war

Interesting and important events have taken place in the last week in the direction of the "Great War" between Russia and the Western imperialist states. It seems that they will continue in the coming weeks.

Interesting and important events have taken place in the last week in the direction of the "Great War" between Russia and the Western imperialist states. It seems that they will continue in the coming weeks.

After Biden authorised Ukraine to use long-range ATACMS missiles against Russia, the Ukrainian army fired these missiles at least twice into Russian territory. Russia responded with long-range Oreshnik missiles, significantly raising tensions. Putin's statement that the Oreshniks have the range to hit Western capitals has both intensified attempts to counter-attack and increased the scenarios for NATO's direct entry into the war. Fear of Russia and Putin is growing among the population. After all, the Oreshnik is capable of hitting Berlin in 15 minutes...

All this has led to some interesting preparations and claims on the NATO front.

One of them is the crash of a DHL cargo plane that took off from Leipzig in Germany on Monday near the airport of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. While the Lithuanian authorities said the incident, in which one person died, could have been a technical accident, the warmongering German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said at the G7 summit that the cargo plane could have been sabotaged, although there was no concrete evidence. Subsequently, the Chief of the German General Staff, Carsten Breuer, said on ARD television that the plane could have crashed as a result of a Russian attack. He used the fires that broke out last summer at the barracks in Cologne and the DHL centre in Leipzig to support his theory.

General Breuer's thesis is that Russia is waging a hybrid war against the West and that Russian intelligence could therefore be behind the events.

If this investigation strengthens the claim that the cargo plane was shot down by Russia, it will reinforce the view in all European countries that Russian intelligence is capable of organising attacks at any time. There may even be those who see this as an attack on NATO and argue that it should be considered an act of war against Russia. If the conditions are right, it only takes one provocation to start a major war.

In recent weeks there have been various exercises in the hope that Russia might attack Europe, leading to a major war. The German army is being mobilised to prepare the population for war. In a 1,000-page strategy document, Operationsplan Deutschland, the government has drawn up a list of all the buildings and infrastructure worth protecting. The scenario is that Germany will become a centre for tens or hundreds of thousands of troops who will have to be transported to the East with war supplies, food and medicine.

The army is on a training tour on this basis. According to a report in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Lieutenant-Colonel Jörn Plischke, commander of the state army, who attended a meeting in Hamburg, said that 70 per cent of truck drivers in the country were Eastern Europeans, and that in the event of a war they would be the ones to go, so he asked every company to train five out of every 100 employees to be truck drivers.

The report prepared by the Federal Office for Civil Defence (BBK) stated that existing shelters would be overhauled, shortcomings would be identified and citizens would be encouraged to create shelters in their homes. The BBK report is in line with the 'Operation Plan'.

Meanwhile, the European Union (EU) military exercise has begun at the Bergen military training area in the Südheide, near the town of Celle. 1700 soldiers from 15 countries are taking part in the exercise, which involves practical training on how to react quickly to crises. According to the NDR television website, one of the aims of the exercise is to quickly deploy thousands of troops to non-EU countries in the event of an emergency. Non-EU country' here means Ukraine.

Another report in the 25 November edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung described cooperation among NATO member states in Europe to produce weapons for a possible war. It says that representatives of the arms monopolies met on board the British Navy warship HMS Queen Elizabeth, docked in the port of Hamburg. In particular, it is written that Germany and England are working for the joint production of weapons. The HMS Queen Elizabeth came to Hamburg not only because of the negotiations, but also because of rising tensions in the region. There are 40 fighter jets and helicopters in the ship's hangar.

Developments clearly show that Germany in particular and Europe in general are not going through a 'normal' process and that war preparations are being made. The huge military expenditures that have been made and will be made in the future almost invite a great war.

In this geography, which has witnessed two great wars in history, it is clear that the ruling classes are once again making intensive efforts to prepare the people for war by fomenting fears and enmities. In the name of 'defence' and 'security', militarism and armament are being imposed as the only option.

In today's conditions, where economic problems are increasing and fear of the future is growing, great duties and responsibilities fall on the forces of peace against war.
