As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was decided 120 people will be taken under custody. As of this morning, with the instructions of the prosecution the police detained 93 people in 12 provinces.
Regarding these arrests, Halkın Hukuk Bürosu (HHB - People's Law Office), stated that they were not informed about the decision of "confidentiality in the file" and that there was a "restriction on visiting their clients” for at least 24 hours.
The HHB lawyer Seda Şaraldı, Grup Yorum band member Metin Kaleli and Yaşar Coşkun were among the detained. Police announced that 27 people were wanted. (EVRENSEL DAILY)
