TRAFFIC/SERVICE ACCIDENTS LEAD TO THE CAUSES OF DEATH

The causes of death were traffic/service accident, Kovid-19, crush/dent, fall from a height. In the report, special attention was paid to service accidents and it was said, "We should underline the fact that the vehicles are not adequately maintained or are not suitable for carrying passengers, and the heavy and long working conditions of the drivers. In January, 1 child died while working in the accommodation sector. The number of workers aged 51 and over who died while working is 28.

The deaths by age groups are as follows:

1 worker in the 15-17 age group,

15 workers in the 18-27 age group,

59 workers in the age group of 28-50,

20 workers in the 51-64 age group,

8 workers aged 65 and over,

8 workers whose age cannot be learned.

Of those who died in occupational homicides, 11 were women and 100 were men. The women workers who lost their lives were working in trade, metal, transportation, health, accommodation and general works.

14 deaths in Istanbul; 12 deaths in Kocaeli; 8 deaths in İzmir; 7 deaths in Denizli; 6 deaths in Bursa; 4 deaths each in Ankara, Kayseri and Muğla; 3 deaths each in Antalya, Aydın, Çorum, Mersin and Sakarya; 2 deaths each in Adana, Batman, Çanakkale, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Karabük, Konya, Manisa and Şanlıurfa; 1 death each occurred in Adıyaman, Aksaray, Ardahan, Bolu, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Kütahya, Malatya, Mardin, Siirt, Trabzon, Uşak, Yalova, Northern Cyprus and China.
