In response to Ipsos global concern survey question of “How would you describe your country's economy, good or bad?​” 82 percent of the participants from Turkey gave the answer “bad”. According to the research, the biggest problem of the people in Turkey is inflation and poverty.

According to the news in the conclusion, the research was conducted by interviewing a total of 19 thousand people in 27 countries between March 25 and April 3, with this result, Turkey is the 5th country whose people think the economy is the worst after Argentina, Peru, Japan and Colombia.

In the general table, while 35 percent of the people say that their country's economy is in good shape, this rate is only 18 percent in Turkey.

In Germany, which is claimed to be “jealous of Turkey”, 54 percent of the people state that the economy in their country is in good shape.

THE BIGGEST ISSUE IS INFLATION

In the research, “In your opinion, is your country moving in the right or wrong direction?​” While 63 percent of the people answered the question "We are going in the wrong direction", according to the answers given by the participants from Turkey to the survey, 78 percent of the people think that the country is going in the wrong direction. With this ratio, Turkey is the 4th country among 27 countries, after Peru, Argentina and Colombia, where its citizens least support the direction of travel.

The research reveals that the biggest problem of the people in Turkey is inflation and poverty. In the survey dated April 2022, 58 percent of Turkish citizens answered "inflation" to the question "What is your most important concern?" With this ratio, Turkey is the second country with the highest inflation concerns after Argentina.

39 percent of Turkish citizens also pointed to "Poverty and income inequality" as the most important concern. After these vital concerns, Turkey remained at one of the lowest levels of concern about the climate crisis with 8 percent. (EVRENSEL DAILY)
